This documentary is produced by DWTN Now, an Emmy-nominated television show and storytelling project from Downtown Bentonville Inc. that highlights the people, places, and stories shaping Bentonville.

In addition to its regular TV episodes, DWTN Now produces one feature documentary each year, focusing on pivotal moments that define the community and its culture.

Downtown Bentonville Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to creating experiences that make people feel proud of where they live and welcome to belong, using events, storytelling, and community partnerships to strengthen downtown Bentonville’s culture and connect people to the heart of the city.


A Indigenous (Navajo) Filmmaker with over 10 years of experience working in videography, films and television. A career that began in New Mexico with Media Arts from the University of New Mexico with a concentration in Film Criticism and History. Now, based out of Northwest Arkansas. Primarily focusing on fostering film work that prioritizes inclusion, representation, gender and diversity.

Aaron Nolan has a background in television broadcast journalism, with over twenty years of experience in markets in Northwest Arkansas, Little Rock, and network news in Chicago. He has worked behind the camera and in the field, developing a strong instinct for capturing authentic moments and shaping narratives that resonate with audiences.

Over the years, Aaron has built a reputation for thoughtful, people-centered storytelling—focusing on real voices, real experiences, and the details that bring a story to life.
